(Question) Am I Waiting for a Render That Will Never Come?

Tl;dr, had an issue where my progress bar seemed like may have been stuck during a 30 hour render, though the estimate did keep climbing. So I’m wondering for how long I should let my next attempt run & if that progress bar sticking is even something to worry about or if its just a poor visual representation of my computer dealing with an issue like a tough chunk of geometry.

Specs are:
1080 sc
I5 6700k
16g ddrm 4
(i forget the rest)

My 1346 photos are 30 gigs (I shot using a Sony a7rii, the jpgs are pretty big but its unparalleled in terms of image quality imo) so I’m not expecting miracles in terms of speed, but I do expect it to work, as the alignment looks solid and they all came in as one (beautiful) component. I was wondering how long is too long to wait for my piece to render, or if there even is a ‘too long.’ I’ve tried a few times on both normal and high quality but got errors and crashes likely due to stupid ■■■■ I couldn’t resist doing like pause the render to delete stuff on the external HDD I have to use for my cache cos my internal SSD is only 250 gigs. (is that bad?) Ultimately I decided to go with a High Quality reconstruction, under the hope that it would be worth the wait (which was long af either way) and look as beautiful as my previous HQ renders of less ambitious objects.

Love the software, love the tutorial, love love love the UI, would love even more some help here,

PS: heres a video of a destination I made using an earlier version of the building wherein I hadnt set my exif data or taken good pictures of the corners https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRJTxfI2emQ&t=196s
