Question about Level Blueprint Optimization - Are variable references faster than directly dragging the actor?

Are variable references to actors faster than directly dragging the actor into the level blueprint?
Is there any difference in performance by using a reference rather than the dragged actor or are they the same under the hood? Consider a case where the actor is being used multiple times in different functions inside the level blueprint.

It makes no difference. They are two ways of doing the same thing.
