Project real sky onto a sphere

Iā€™m newbie with Unreal Engine 4 and I need to do this: I need a spherical map of the real sky projected onto a sphere. The player will be inside.

How can I do this?

Yes, I know it is very difficult to start with, maybe some newbie tutorials will be helpful.


This is how it works (just the first part - chapter 3 - of the tutorial ) ->
After that just import the mesh + the texture - create a material with the texture - assign it to the mesh :slight_smile:
