We have an Unreal project we’re working on between a few computers using Perforce. We’re also using content packs from the Marketplace. When I place a mesh from a content pack into a level, the materials that are already assigned to don’t sync to the other computers. Sometimes they sync incorrectly, like they’ve lost the UV map or something.
At first, we thought this was from not adding the materials manually to Perforce. But even after we started checking to make sure “Add to Source Control” was checked, the problem persisted.
Sometimes readding the material fixes the issue. Is there any way to avoid this problem?
