precautions to consider while assigning material in maya that are to be exported in unreal engine

Hello , i want to ask about the materials that are in common between autodesk maya and unreal engine , so that the material that i use in maya are properly exported to unreal engine .
I am aware about the metal ray materials not being able to export properly in unreal engine , but want to know about more materials available in maya but are not supported in unreal engine

Unreal Engine will create a material with the name that you assigned to yours in Maya and there isn’t really that much about it. Probably it can import textures and base colors but it’s there to keep IDs organized more than anything. I would say.
