I’m trying to create a selection material for post-processing, I’ve never made a post-process material before either so it’s a little different than usual from what I’ve seen online so far, and I just want to make a material that basically works a selection/highlight but it’s not an outline. It’s like the view you get when you select a face in 3ds Max, just creates a red overlay on the face you’ve selected but just creates a red overlay on the mesh in Unreal. Also, I’m not sure how transparency works with these materials so if I could have it so it was pretty translucent then that’d be perfect. Anyone got any advice/methods of doing this?
