Possible to use IK for reload animation of weapon1 for weapon2?

Hi now I have a reload animation that is suitable for weapon1 only, I also plan to use it for weapon2 but the magazine of weapon2 is slighty infront, is it possible to use IK to adjust the reload animation?

Sure, what you’ll want to do is set up your IK node in your animation for the second weapon - if the weapon2 is out, put IK strength for the node at 1.0, otherwise 0.0. Positioning the target should be as easy as setting a socket up on your weapon2 where you want the hand to go.
