Poly count Wise for meshes

As i am new to creating/modeling. I am wondering how much consideration will be needed about the polycount for making meshes to import into UE4 for map creation.

I have used some of the older engines although most of the meshes were provided but some i created.
Any insight about it would be greatly welcome :slight_smile:


It always depends on which type of game/map your are creating. e.g When you create a open world map, then your models should be pretty low poly.
