Poincloud / Scale/ Lighting

Hi all. I’m new to UE4, looked at at for a long time and decided to put my theeth in it. I’m working a lot with pointclouds and have my first try-out in UE4. I have a few questions…
-What scale does UE4 use with pointclouds? Does it use the realworld scale of the pointcloud?
-I don’t seem to get light out of a UE4 spotlight. Is this scale related?

any help/pointers on past threads is welcome.
