Please work with Xamarin to make Mono for UE a reality

Get Visual Assist X. How anybody works in C++ or any large codebase without it is beyond me.

We do it all the time (within reason, and by ‘we’ I mean our Tech Manager). Most recent things I can think of:

  • Writing extra ‘bits’ to the GBuffer, so that we can properly render and travel through Portals.
  • Integrating PS4 / Xbone dev kits (which you will have to do if you ever want to ship to those platforms).
  • Projection Matrix modification that allows us to do portals on Occulus.

EDIT: Just read the rest of the thread. By the looks of it we’ve finished this debate now… that’s probably for the best.
