there’s a much easier and proven way than adding a fee.
you can add sms verification like any other major company already does.
and it’s even more painful than a fee, since every new phone number requires additional setup (like buying the sim card and activating it).
and it implies a cost too.
i’d say it’s a much better solution than a simple fee.
since also you can verify a person and secure their account too.
