player sinks into tile and moves by itself after jump

Hi everyone,

I just started to play with Unreal engine, 4.14.
I was following a tutorial on doing a 2d sidescroller, and i’ve used the 2d sidescroller template.
But pretty soon I ran into issues.

If I jump while running, the player “sinks” a few pixels into the ground tile and keeps moving in the running direction by itself.
I can stop the movement by moving in the other direction, and then the player pops up to the surface of the tile.
Jumping while standing still works.

Attaching a screenshot with the player capsule visible, and the player is about 2 pixel stuck in the tile.

Any input appreciated.
