first things first: Hi. I’m quite new to Unreal (but not to programming) and I have the following question:
What I’m trying to is the following: Having a button in the editor which places, well, an object like a tree or a house or an actor on a defined position on the landscape. I need this functionality for a later step in the development where I want to automate level generation based on semantic constraints.
Q: Any hints/tutorials on how to do this? Is it possible to place an object in the viewport via c++ code?
