Physics Objects ping around when colliding with player


First off, sorry about the vague/non-informative question title. It’s hard to explain what happens without showing it.

What the problem is is that I am making a balancing game with blueprints for a college project. Here is a clip of my game ( ), and around 40 seconds, the object flies off the plate and I cant think of anything to fix it. I’m thinking it may have something to do with the object inheriting the players velocity, but I can’t figure out a fix. Any help would be very appreciated.


I’ve solved my problem. All I did was disable physics body collision within my characters collision settings. This may not be the best workaround but it will do for my project
