Physic Constraints for "Snap Back" to Original Location?

Hey Everyone,

I’ve been messing around with physic constraints, trying and playing with the features.
I’m essentially trying to create a sphere thats floating that snaps/moves back to its original location when pushed away by the player.
So no matter which way the player interacts with it, it will get pushed XYZ direction then slowly move back to its original position.

I haven’t been able to get away from the “tether ball” effect of the physics constraints.

Let me know what ideas you have!
