Pawn glitching through moving platforms

Hey guys,

my pawn is standing on top of a moving platform, and most of the times, it just moves correctly with it, but sometimes, it appears the pawn slightely penetrates the elevator mesh, and then the elevator just moves through the pawn, leaving it on the ground.
Also, when the pawn mesh is a cube (it’s all still in testing phase), I can’t move while the elevator is raising.

So my question is, are there some basic rules I should follow, to get a smooth pawn movement? Like, how to handle collisions and movement, to prevent those issues. I can’t use the character class, since my game relies on a different movement system than the character component supports (sounds strange, but it’s true :frowning: )
