Pass StaticMesh object from widget blueprint to character blueprint

​Hello, I’m very new to unreal engine, and I’m totally stuck trying to do what I thought would be super easy.

I’m trying to change the static mesh of my player character based on the input from a widget. Is there something I’m missing here? No matter what I do, it won’t seem to work.

Here’s what I have:

(“Prop Result” is a public static mesh variable)

Any help would be very appreciated!!
