Particle Sprites/Quad Meshes Facing Emitter Shape

I’ve been trying to find a way to get a quad mesh particle to face the outside of the Cylinder location module. As in, if a particle spawns on the +X side of the cylinder, the face of the quad would face +X. If a particle spawns on the -X side of the cylinder, the quad’s face would be in the -X direction. I’ve tried using velocity aligned particles with an inward velocity, but that isn’t giving me the results I’m looking for since I want to give them an upwards velocity as well.
