Parented mesh in FBX is not imported correctly

Hi,

I’m importing an fbx animation of a DAZ model made with Mixamo. The FBX imported by Mixamo has a backpack correctly positioned as a child of one of the bones.

I can open the FBX in C4D and it works perfectly, the backpack moves following its parent bone.

The problem is, when i import it into UE4 everything works fine except that backpack. For some reason it dissapears from the hierarchy and it no longer follows the bone. It is “stuck” to the character and moves with it but doesnt follow the movements of its parent bone.

Unchecking “import meshes in bone hierarchy” when importing the FBX makes no difference.

Am i overlooking something?
