Packaging on linux


Can i package for Windows and Mac Os on linux? With Unity i had the same problem before i switched to Unreal Engine. For some reason i was able to add build support (in Unity) for Windows and Mac Os on Ubuntu and Linux Mint, but i use Manjaro linux (Arch-based) and i wasn’t able to add Windows and Mac build support. I haven’t tried Unreal Engine on Ubuntu(or Linux Mint) but in Manjaro Linux i can only package for Linux and Android. Does anyone know a solution that is not switching to windows (or another operating system) or installing windows in a vm.


Legally and technically there’s nothing to stop you.
But actually no toolchain exists for UE to build for apple and microsoft platforms from GNU/linux.
You are welcome to make those yourself.
