Packaging error, been stuck on this for awhile now (4.12)

Hi, for anyone who can help me out, I’ve been stuck on this android packaging error for awhile now and I haven’t gotten any traction through answerhub sadly.

The game packages fine for IOS, so this has to be something specifically related to packaging for android.

Unsupported major.minor version 52.0, this is Java 8. I see you are using the UniversalMobileAds plugin. Did you remember to set the Java version to 1.7? [MENTION]GameDNA Studio[/MENTION] can likely help you.

I have been chatting with them but java version hadn’t come up (I’ll be sure to mention it now.)
When you say set Java version to 1.7, in what location exactly are you referring to?

My path in my project settings>Android SDK> location of java, is pointing at my install of jdk1.7.0_71

Or is this located somewhere else I’m unaware of?

You should change build.xml as described in docs in section “Getting started”.

Change:

But probably you have already changed it so it’s not the problem. People affected by this issue generally have problems with migrate from 4.11 to 4.12 and the new CodeWorks. Make sure that you updated to CodeWorks 1R4 (and you changed Android SDK paths) and you don’t have installed SDK greater than 22.
