Packaging and Cooking crashing with Unreal 4.4 for Windows platforms?

Hi everyone,

I assume packaging a project is the only way to showcase a game without giving access to my project files and a sub to UE4. I wanted to share my game with friends but Unreal 4 keeps crashing while packaging or cooking.

I have compiled the C++ code successfully but packaging and cooking has still been unsuccessful and causes Unreal 4 to crash; I could not find a specific answer with Answerhub.

Any thoughts or experiences with this?
