Packaged Game not opening, Out of Ideas

I have been creating a game to be published, I have previously build and published a version of the game and am now trying to publish an update.

I have Packaged the game in Unreal Engine 5.4, Build for shipping with for Distribution ticked in the package settings. The build completes, reports success but when I try and open the packaged game the windows loading throbber displays, disappears and then nothing.

The game has been packaged every way I can think of, we have eliminated warnings over and over, nothing changes. I am hoping someone a little more knowledgeable might be able to decipher the logs and tell me the (hopefully very simple) problem.

Me too!

In case someone stumbles upon this in the future, Gameplay Messaging System was the issue. The plugin taken from Lyra, this and this alone was preventing us from packaging the game.

Kinda ironic that I found the solution 6hrs after posting for help but that life I guess. Been an issue for weeks. Have fun!

Curious / can you detail more for the next person packaging?

Packaging itself wasn’t failing outright? Or was it with an error?
