Overlayd material draw distance option dont work

Whatever the setting on the MAX DRAW DISTANCE the overlay is always visible on top of the mesh

i tried in 5.5 and 5.6 same problem

i tried value from 0 to 1000 and camera distance frome close until the last pixel visible…

What scalability settings are you on? In cinematic scalability, all draw distances get dramatically increased.

I just checked the engine code to confirm, and this is the logic that is controlling the distance culling:

I just checked in my engine too and can confirm that it’s working.

i m in high setting
problem the overlay completly glitch if it dont disapear in short distant . that a subtle detail effect. the more far i get the more intense it become and completly ungulf the mesh

what setting you recommand to make overlay disapear after 2 metter ? ( no matter the scalability)

i put the minimum 0.001 and nothing happen
i think that just a bug all video i watch it disapear after small distance according to the setting
I will report the bug
