Outputting Physical Materials From Line Trace to Activate Secondary System

Good evening!

I’m looking to expand my water movement audio system using Wwise and Unreal and wondered if anyone had any clues on how I can use the Physical Material result from my footstep system’s line trace to activate another system based on the physical material returned?

Effectively I’m looking to do a ‘If it returns that the surface type is water, activate the water movement system’ type setup.

If anyone has any ideas it would be very much appreciated!
