Old guy needs advice on idle animation adjustment...

I’m an old MS/Apple dev (65) that’s just getting into UE for some archviz. Everything so far is pretty straight forward except character animation. I’ve spent a couple of weeks on the docs and standard YT/forum posts with no really useful information.
I’m needing to adjust the idle animation to something less dramatic as the builtin ‘breathing’ is way too much. Can someone please give me some feedback on this or point me to a useful source for such? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well you don’t say what you mean by to much? Is it to fast? You can change the rate of the animation so that it’s either faster or slower.
Is the breathing to intents? You can delete keys by truncating the number of frames

Your answers…
You can change the rate of the animation so that it’s either faster or slower.
You can delete keys by truncating the number of frames.

You can’t change the frame rate on one specific animation(idle in this case) without the rest of the ThirdPerson_AnimBP walking, running, jumping being affected.
You can delete keys but you’re still starting with way too much movement so any key deletion will end up looking jerky.
