Odd blinking effect after opening mesh in skeletal mesh editor

Hi all

I drew a mesh of a vehicle in Blender, and imported it into unreal to use with the WheeledVehicle class. I used the Automotive Material Pack to texture it. If I just open the project, then the car drives and looks fine. But, if I edit either the pawn to which the car is attached or view it in the skeletal mesh editor, then I will start to see a weird blinking effect in the viewport. Attached to this post is an example of the effect.

If I export the game, then I don’t see any blinking, so I don’t think there’s a problem with the mesh. Also, if I replace the reflective material with something nonreflective, I don’t see any blinking. Does anyone know any workarounds?
