Summary

On Objective Devices, the “Collision: Only When Visible” option has been bugged for 4 months now as far as I’m aware.

If you have an objective device that’s invisible at the start of the game, but then set to visible later on, via a conditional button or any other event, the device will still have no collisions despite being set to “Collisions: Only when visible”

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Add any of the Blue Shield objective devices to the map
  2. Set collisions to “only when visible”
  3. Set the objective to be invisible at the start of the game, but then enable visibility via a conditional button or channel trigger

Expected Result

At the beginning of the game, collisions should not be enabled on the Objective. When it is later set to visible, collisions should become enabled

Observed Result

When visible, collisions are still missing from the Objective.

same issue- also made a bug report about it

The only way to get around it right now is to have the shield visible in an unseen part of your map attach it to a prop and use verse to teleport the prop to where you want the shield to go and it will bring the barrier shield device to that location too. And remember to hide the prop in verse as well.
