Object gets "transparent" when picked up with left hand in VR

Hi Community,

so I got this strange issue where my mesh gets transparent when picked up with the left hand in VR.

The mesh is a gun, which snaps into the vr hands with a socket, based on what hand is used to pick the gun up. For the right hand, everything is working 100%. Left hand is workig as well, but somehow it seems like the normals are turned around.

Has anyone of you experienced a similar issue or could think of a possible cause?
