Nvidia just put up a multires shading branch for 4.12

Oculus has also put a 4.12 branch up for their forward renderer:

Someone please merge the two together =)

This is great news! Thanks for sharing. Im really surprised there isn’t much talk about the VR works branch… it literally provided a 40% FPS increase to our Vive version of the game. Really happy they brought it into 4.12. Thanks again for the news!

Has anyone attempted merging the Oculus and NVIDIA branches? Any feedback? I’d love to use both but forward is better for performance for us and the multires is easier from a shader point of view. Does Clear Coat work in the 4.12 forward branch? It didn’t in 4.11.
