NPC/navmesh character wall/ladder climbing


With these type of characters that are controlled by ai or pathfind via a navmesh is there anything to do for the navmesh etc. I’ve found it a little bit tricky to implement. You can set the movement mode ok, but I get a lot of sticking on the ground or taking the navmesh route where a character can currently walk around.

I’ve seen and done the gist of the normal way of doing wall climbing with the available tutorials, so I’m wondering if there’s anything I’ve missed in this case as most tutorials work on a character navigating via game controller input rather than a navmesh etc.
