Not worth picking up STEAM sale version?

I see the STEAM sale going on with CR listed as $19.99 1 month and $54.99 for 3 months and I’m tempted to pick it up. However, there seems to be crashes and connection issues to Steam and causing work to be loss. It appears the Steam version of RealityCapture has been having this issue for quite a few months now.

Is it possible to purchase a 3 month trial at the STEAM sale rate on this website?
