Normal - UEFN - UEFN takes too long to save and the process doesn't actually save

I constantly see this message when saving, and it freezes the editor when it happens. Takes around 40 seconds to fill the bar, but I have almost nothing added to the scene, so not sure why its taking this long. Seems like its trying to clean up something that it can’t, and does it again.

I am currently working in both Creative and UEFN, maybe that’s why? Anyhow, logs are attached.

It’s also not saving anything, or my repository would have picked it up (files would appear on the left)

Even when I get extra messages to save selected, nothing seems to save (note: the game normally saves, this is a visual and UI issue)

Its not replicable I realized. It was because I had the editor running for too long.

Ok got it again. Was working on UEFN for 2 hours until it started getting slow. I grabbed logs right after it saved as well:

Project is only 12k memory btw, it is still very light weight.

No worries! Seems its not me having the editor open for too long, my guess is that because of Live edit. Its starting to lag a little bit more now in new cases, like duplicating an asset, or randomly while in UEFN. Not sure if logs will do again, project is now at 13.7k with no mechanics and custom assets are also pretty light on filesize:

Just as a heads up @Wertandrew, we have a lot of new live-edit work coming your way in roughly 2 weeks, so I would re-evaluate once our new version with all this work gets in your hands.

On the other hand, any type of stuff not saving could very well be a separate issue, and we have the team digging into those types of issues now to see where we stand, and to make sure nothing falls through the cracks with our live-edit work.

I am dealing with the very same issue. I am wondering if you assigned materials to the DataTexture section of materias, or the static mesh itself oveerlapping fortnite assets?

I am looking for a solution as my engine is chugging along when i drag the handles and move an object, the engine quicky freezes and the handles i dragged are way out of the way.

If you have found a solution please keep me posted?
