Encountering a bug with multicast, that sends a No value will be returned by reference error, How would i fix this bug? It was already reported in 2017 as shown here, https://answers.unrealengine.com/que…ference-1.html Is this bug unavoidable? Example shown in comments, all im doing is multicasting 4 arrays to no avail
It’s not so much a bug as an inconvenience. It only matters if you want to write back to the array.
It’s just a warning to let you know that passing a property to an RPC by reference is not “allowed” (simply put, you can’t call an RPC to modify a property).
In C++, it won’t allow compilation, but Blueprint doesn’t have a way to pass properties by const reference so a warning is the next best thing.
