No shadows at large x, y coordinates


I create an empty project with a little scene at (3.000.000, 0, 0) and a moveable directional light at (0,0,0). However, its not casting any dynamic shadows unless I either move my scene closer to 0,0,0 or I set the light to stationary. Is it a bug, can I fix it, how are other people handling lights for large scenes?

You could try increasing the dynamic shadow distance on the directional light. But there’s a limit to that…
