Newbie Questions

Hi,

I have 3 questions.

  • If I compile a development version of game as Windows executable, is there a way to prevent someone from copying this onto another PC etc
  • How can I test my game on an Xbox?
  • Will Unreal support Apple Mac in the future?

you would need an xbox dev kit for that, I think you need a xbox deleloper license as well.

You can’t copyright Blueprint, but the game you can its your digital identity. Its like saying I’ll put a copyright on my Blueprint and what if someone’s Blueprint looked the same and never heard of my game. Don’t go that far copyrighting a Blueprint its going to be a hell of legal action on your parts and in my opinion just write the entire game in C++ and copyright it from there.
