I am trying to use the Character Interaction project with the Advanced Locomotion System and so far it’s going well. I have most of it transferred over and working but the BP_SimpleInventory blueprint is giving me trouble. I changed the macros to match my new character then changed everything in the event graph with no trouble. Everything compiles fine and runs when I hit play, however when I save and close the project to restart it a bunch of pins are disconnected as shown in the screenshots below.
What am I doing wrong here? Why would it compile and then break on restart?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Even though it was connected and saved after restart it can’t connect anymore.
