I’m trying to get comfortable with UMG and so far I’ve done pretty well using a combination of standard widgets, custom image assets and keyframe animation. The current project is the HUD found in Kingdom Hearts 1.
So far I have the command menu down (at least at a surface level) and you can see it in use here:
Now what I am trying to do is to make the health bar that the game uses, and this health bar is rather oddly shaped as you can see in this picture from the game itself:
I tried to follow a tutorial on how to achieve a custom progress bar but I failed to get it right. I already created the health bar asset both as a mask and a fill but I don’t know how to make them work together in a widget or how to instruct the widget how it should fill out this oddly shaped bar. Any help?
