Need Help On FPS Gun Showing Up in Reflections

So I’ve done a lot of digging and I’ve found that it’s not possible to disable SSR for an individual object. But I’ve also found people saying there are certain “hacks” to get around this when it comes to objects such as a gun in the fps camera. This is exactly what I’m trying to accomplish at the moment. I’m pretty sure that there’s a way to hide a material when the pixels are facing away from the camera, but I’m not exactly sure how to do it. If I’m wrong or there’s a better solution, feel free to let me know. SSR looks beautiful in UE4. I would hate to have to disable it.
