(Need help) fully functional character selection

Can anyone help me make a fully functional character selection. As in how do I spawn the selected character when a level is loaded.

If you know how blueprints or C++ works then just override “Get Default Pawn Class” Function in “Game Mode” Bluprint/Class

I know a decent amount of blueprints. But I’m not completely sure what you mean. Is there a tutorial that you know of or could explain it to me, that would be much appreciated.

You mean at the beginning of the level? Just create a level “CharacterSelection”, drag every actor out there and OnClick -> Set Variable “Character” to the klicked actor. Then load the main Level, get the value of this variable and possess.

You will also need to store that variable in the game instance so it will persist through levels.
