Nav Link Proxy

I’m trying to get my head around nav link proxies. I have my nav mesh working fine and now I want to let my AIController drop off a ledge and jump over a cliff. I know how to setup the navigation area for the jumping stuff, but that’s not yet the point. I’m stuck way before that. I can’t understand how the nav link proxy should be setup to let my actor use it. The documentation is quite lacking at the time I’m writing this and I don’t understand if the left and right points should be exactly on the ground or if they should be half inside and half over or all the way over. And how big should they be? Is it enough if the actor’s capsule intersects them or should it be big enough to contain the whole capsule? Anyone who can lend a hand?
