Nanite for Intel Graphics

I recently compiled Unreal Engine 5 Early Access on Linux and tried to play with Nanite, only to realize that Nanite does not work on Intel Graphics.
I use a very recent laptop and planned on using it as a low end development target, because I found that it plays 3D games of the past decade (on low) just fine.

Being new to Unreal Engine, I am not sure how to elegantly fall back to lower-detailed assets when Nanite does not work, thus begging the question–if the goal is for artists to be able to ignore polygon budgets, not supporting major hardware configurations seems to miss the point.

Will there ever be support for Nanite on Intel integrated graphics, so that my two hardware targets aren’t so majorly different?
