So I am doing this candy themed thing and was planing on making som realistic ginger breads. I mean the over simplified version is a brown texture of actual gingerbread. Would tile terribly. Next is a brown input color and and some noise. Also the roughness should be quite high. Since the baked goods don’t shine that much.
So far it looks mostly like a bright brown sphere with chickenpox. Does anyone have a few hints when it comes to the topic at hand?
Later I will make the underside as well. But the smooth baked side is the first step.
I would like some kind of blured perlin noise maybe for variation of the surface, it does bake quite evenly but there are still slight variations in the surface, maybe slightly slightly randomize the normals of the surface?
Ah. Ok there is a heightmap to normal, so If I create some perlin noise, blur it out properly, and weaken it, I could use that as input.
I will give it a try.
