I created this heightmap (Imgur: The magic of the Internet) in photoshop as a proof of concept for something I’m working on. However, when I import it into UE4, the resulting terrain is very odd. The terrain is created at roughly -12,000 x, y and z and is very small, I have to scale it by roughly 10,000 for it to be visible. Interestingly enough, if I just create an image using photoshop’s render clouds, the resulting terrain is normal and exactly what I expect.
