Im just getting started with Reality Capture and have followed a number of the quick start guides. I have a selection of photos and they have been correctly aligned however I am not showing any points within the point cloud or mesh model from a number of photos. Please take a look at the image below.
One of the issues that come up with photogrammetry is how to recreate shiny objects, since photogrammetry uses optical measurements.
Shinier objects are harder to read, and most of the time photogrammetry software are not able to find features in those parts. It is recommended to cover the shiny parts of your area of interest with some kind on washable matter. It can be the spray mentioned in that post, or you can use some kind of powder (flour, baking powder) if you know it is not going to ruin your object.
