hi , I am using Marcin’s third person shooter kit assets in the level blueprint to try and create multiple keycards for separate characters and separate doors. I created identical node groups for disabling door panel , spawning the key on the AI character , and re-enabling the door panels . tried to create identical node group for collecting keycard and run it directly to other door(so far I have 2 setup), but that part wouldn’t work. I had to use a sequence node to come off collecting keycard node group and split to each door. the way it is now , the keycard will spawn on either character , but once I get it from one , the other will not spawn it. and the keycard I get will open both doors.
i’m trying to make it so I can have several doors and several AI characters so that each is separate. so say I have 5 doors , I want to have 5 separate keys spawn on 5 separate characters that will open the 5 separate doors.(not just one key opens all doors , or keycard spawns on only 1 character).i attach some pics of the blueprint I print screened and pasted in paint. not sure how useful(unless one can zoom on em) ,they will be. but i’m hoping it could give someone some ideas to get me moving in the right direction. I am relatively new to UE4. thanks for any help
