I need to respawn some pawns after they are destroyed. My scene is a roaming AI that walks randomly then moves to pawns when it sees them (PawnSensing component), and then looks at empty pawns for a few seconds before moving on. I have it set up so that the looking reduces the pawns health, and have them spawning to target points in the level blueprint.
Right now I have them respawning off a delay which is obviously not right and causes a momentary freeze/glitch. It would be much better if i could trigger the respawn individually as and when each of them ‘dies’.
If anyone could give me any advice on this it would be much appreciated. The aim is to simulate attention span so the idea of the health/destroy actor combination is a way of stopping the Ai returning to the same spot too often.
