Hello, guys! I’m novice, and I wanna to understand how I can realize movement of my character by hmd location changing. I saw it in VRGK project, but I couldn`t repeat that.
If you mean that annoying option in the VR that “locks” the view to your head then there’s a solution to that
I had to deal with it as well and was so confused that everything moves with my head instead of staying in place
Anyway at the BeginPlay of your Player Blueprint add a node called “Set Tracking Origin”
I think I used Floor Level, no idea how Stage works and eye level is what you’re using now and it’s wrong ;]
If you mean just movement of the Pawn - it’s very similar to the normal non-VR Pawn, although you may want to use a collision shape as Root to prevent looking through solids ![]()
And you can get the “Get HMD Data” to get info about location, rotation etc that you can use to move parts of your body around
