Modeling movement in 3d platformer off of negative cosine function

Hi Answerhub,
I am making a 3d platformer in unreal. Rather than having the jump movement be parabolic(which is most jump movements) I want to be able to model the movement of a negative cosine function (-cosx), so that the player would accelerate upwards and then slowly descend. How can I model this in Unreal and plug it into my player?
