Mixamo Fuse FBX for UE4 issues

Is it possible to modify a Fuse character in Blender? I found some workflow details on the Mixamo site but it was focused around animation. I am running into some odd results when I load a T-Pose skeletal mesh that has been imported/exported with Blender. The model looks fine on all other programs that can open FBX.

Here’s an image of a character I imported into Blender and exported without any modifications. It was auto-rigged on Mixamo and downloaded as T-Pose FBX for UE4.

Since I have no issues importing the original (non-Blender import/export) into UE4, I thought I could simply export the skeletal mesh from UE4 as a workaround. Unfortunately, that results in a crash to the desktop.

Edit: I forgot to correct the scale for the screenshot. The same behavior occurs when the correct scale is imported.

Does it look correct in blender? Which blender version do you use? (have you tried the 2.7) For me it looks like some faces are probably inverted -> add a two sided material and see if the missing parts appears :slight_smile:
